While Providence Classical didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They greeted the New Year with with a 48-30 victory over the UR Academy Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Paladins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Providence Classical's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for UR Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Classical will venture away from home to take on Arborbrook Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for UR Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against The Fletcher School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
