Westbrook had just enough and edged Greely out 56-54. For Westbrook, this counts as revenge for the 72-46 loss Greely walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2021.
Westbrook's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylar Hodge led the charge by scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Hattie Clark , who scored 10 points.
Westbrook's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Greely, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Westbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Falmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greely, they will head out on the road to face off against Gorham at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
