The North Lincoln Knights will head out on the road to  take on  the East Lincoln Mustangs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (North Lincoln: 2.6, East Lincoln: 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
 North Lincoln is headed into the  matchup fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Statesville with a sharp  18-5 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for North Lincoln, who have now won seven matches by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Logan Sammons was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Sammons was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Chad Matthews and  Tucker Sigmon did most of the damage at the plate:  Matthews  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while going 1-for-3, while  Sigmon  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Cason McGinnis, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, East Lincoln waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of  6-2.
 East Lincoln also got a great performance from  Barrett Erwin as he  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Erwin has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Trey Spees, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.  JT Roche was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 North Lincoln is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. As for East Lincoln, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-3.
