It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Othello Huskies can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Enumclaw on Saturday, falling 49-12. Othello's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Enumclaw to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gunnar Trachte, who threw for 180 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Trachte is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Enumclaw also got a significant boost from Wyatt Neu, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.
Othello's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Enumclaw, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record.
Othello does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Enumclaw will take on Highline at TBD on Saturday. Highline is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
