Stanton won the last time they faced Colorado and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stanton Buffaloes put the hurt on the Colorado Wolves with a sharp 9-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

Aiden Stone made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, one triple, and one run. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

In other batting news, Stanton let Aidan Armendarez and Gage McCown run wild. Armendarez got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, while McCown scored two runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs McCown has posted since back in February of 2024.

Stanton's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Colorado, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Stanton is taking a road trip to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday. Colorado will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tulia at 10:00 a.m. on March 8th.
