They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  15-13  win over the South Cameron Tarpons  on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Tarpons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
 Harmony Bodie was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.  Ruby Mullinax was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Hackberry was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Cameron only posted a  batting average of  .316.
Hackberry picked up their first home  win, bumping their record up to 6-7. As for South Cameron,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-9.
 Coming up, Hackberry will take on Singer at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for South Cameron, they will challenge Hathaway at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
