Basketball Recap: Birchwood Has No Trouble Against Prairie Farm

Birchwood lost to Prairie Farm back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Birchwood Bobcats enjoyed a cozy 74-57 victory over the Prairie Farm Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Birchwood has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Prairie Farm, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Birchwood has already played their next match (against Lake Holcombe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Prairie Farm will venture away from home to take on Clayton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
