Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lake-Lehman). They came out on top against the Loyalsock Township Lancers by a score of  19-14  on Saturday. With that  victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 8.6  runs per game.
Lake-Lehman let  Chris Sholtis and  Tanner Evans run wild. Sholtis  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his seven plate appearances, while  Evans  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most  stolen bases  Evans has posted since back in May of 2024.  Jake Naugle also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Lake-Lehman was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
The  win was  the third in a row for Lake-Lehman, bringing their record up to 3-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Loyalsock Township, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Lake-Lehman will challenge Holy Redeemer at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Holy Redeemer will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Lake-Lehman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loyalsock Township, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  16-1  victory against Sayre on the 31st.
