The Skyridge Falcons will head out on the road to  challenge  the Lone Peak Knights at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.
 After soaring to 11  runs the game before, Skyridge was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Thursday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 12-2 walloping at the hands of Lehi.
  Maylee Walston made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Skyridge  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 11  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Lone Peak suffered a  rough 11-4 loss at the hands of American Fork  on Thursday. Lone Peak has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Skyridge has  fallen quite a ways from their 26-5 record last season and are now  at 2-8. As for Lone Peak, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Skyridge took their  win against Lone Peak  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  15-0. Will Skyridge repeat their success,  or does  Lone Peak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
