Fort Mill is 1-8 against Nation Ford since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nation Ford Falcons at 7:30 p.m.
Fort Mill fell victim to Clover's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Blue Eagles, falling 48-0. While losing is never fun, Fort Mill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Clover is ranked 16th).
Meanwhile, Nation Ford never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Spring Valley 49-0 at home. The victory was just what Nation Ford needed coming off of a 42-21 loss in their prior match.
Fort Mill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Nation Ford, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
Fort Mill was taken down by Nation Ford 52-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Will Fort Mill have more luck at home instead of on the road?
