Softball Recap: Breckenridge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Breckenridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let the Dublin Lions get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Tuesday. The Buckaroos haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Olyvia Perez made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joni Jackson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Ally Reyes was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.
