Salt Lake Academy won the last time they faced Freedom Prep Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Salt Lake Academy Griffins blew past the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-14.

Danny Alvarez-Rivadeneira paced Salt Lake Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Alvarez-Rivadeneira got some help from Juan Zuniga and his 18 assists. Gustavo Bombassaro Moro controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Salt Lake Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Freedom Prep Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Salt Lake Academy will venture away from home to challenge Dugway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will take on Providence Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom Prep Academy is facing Providence Hall at the right time seeing as Providence Hall is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
