Volleyball Recap: Attica Extends Winning Streak to Three

Attica had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Ark City Christian Academy by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Attica took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14.

Attica got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liberty Swingle out in front who had six kills, four aces, and one block. Emma Asper was another key player, getting nine assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Attica was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last five contests.

Attica's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Ark City Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Attica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Caney Valley on the 27th. As for Ark City Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Life Prep at 5:30 p.m. on October 7.
