Andrew Botner Goes Supernova in North Vermillion Victory
Starting off the list is North Vermillion's Andrew Botner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Botner rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The victory (which was North Vermillion's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Botner and North Vermillion will head out to take on Seeger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Covington Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Cian Moore
Cian Moore was instrumental in extending Covington's winning streak to three on Friday. Attica had no answer to Moore as he rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Moore's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 166 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Attica's probably not too fond of Moore given he always seems to get the better of them. Moore rushed for 303 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 55 receiving yards the last time he and the Red Ramblers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Eli Foxworthy Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Fountain Central had to settle for second even though Eli Foxworthy put up the best numbers he has all season. Foxworthy rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 145 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Fountain Central: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
For the season, Foxworthy has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 99 passing yards per game.

Dallas Coleman Dazzles in South Vermillion Victory
Dallas Coleman was instrumental in extending South Vermillion's winning streak to eight on Friday. Coleman did his part (and then some), picking up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 64 yards for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles.
Seeger had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Coleman it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Coleman saw the Patriots), he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown.

South Vermillion Gets a Boost from Garzolini in 44-14 Victory
Dominic Garzolini was instrumental in extending South Vermillion's winning streak to eight on Friday. Seeger had no answer to Garzolini as he threw for 244 yards and six touchdowns. What's more, Garzolini also racked up nine rushing yards, the mosthe's had since back in September of 2023.
For the season, Garzolini has thrown 35 touchdowns (and and only 4 picks) while averaging 283.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had 22 passing touchdowns.
