Sadly, the Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season after 11 games. They took a hard 40-24 fall against Great Falls on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Governor's School for Science & Math of the 30-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Great Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janie Bailey, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Yanaysia Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Governor's School for Science & Math dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.3 points per game. As for Great Falls, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-18.
Governor's School for Science & Math does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Great Falls also has no future games currently scheduled.
