Baseball Recap: Brown Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Brown entered their tilt with Doss on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 20-17. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 back in March.

Quinn Gallagher was incredible, going 4-for-5 with ten stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Jamison Calloway was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Brown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .653. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Brown's record is now 11-2. As for Doss, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brown will face off against Moore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.57 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Doss, they will head out to take on Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
