Escondido Charter kept a clean sheet against Orange Glen  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Orange Glen Patriots with a sharp  4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by four  goals or more  so far this season.
 Natalie Lewis and  Victoria Tello scored all four of Escondido Charter's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
Escondido Charter's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those three  matchups. As for Orange Glen,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Escondido Charter will venture away from home to  take on Maranatha Christian  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Escondido Charter knows how to get  goals on the board -- the  squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Maranatha Christian likes a good challenge. Orange Glen has  already played their next  contest (against Southwest SD), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
