Fountain-Fort Carson is headed out to face Pueblo Central after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Fountain-Fort Carson never let Overland get on the board and left with  a   16-0  victory  on Saturday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

 Nathan Illert was a standout: he got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, four  stolen bases,  and three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kash Garcia, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Five bases. while going 2-for-3.
 Fountain-Fort Carson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Overland only posted  an  OBP of  .000.
Meanwhile,  everything went Pueblo Central's way against Widefield on Monday as Pueblo Central made off with  a  10-0 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Gladiators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Pueblo Central got a  massive  performance out of  Jordan Arguello, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.  Anthony Trujillo was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Fountain-Fort Carson couldn't quite get it done against Pueblo Central in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024 as they fell  13-8. Can Fountain-Fort Carson avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
