For Victory Christian, this counts as revenge for the 39-9 loss Oak Grove walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2020.
Leading Victory Christian to victory were Haley Hendrix and Amelia Haney. Hendrix dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Haney scored 16 points along with 8 steals. The matchup was Hendrix's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jemma Hazelwood, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Victory Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Oak Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
