 Thomas Mcnamara looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 On the hitting side,  Adam Weiss was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Raul Rodriguez, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
Saratoga Springs now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bethlehem Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Central is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Guilderland  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. The  game will  give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
