The Waldron Mohawks will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Waldron has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 246 points over their last four matchups.
Waldron pushed their score all the way to 64 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 76-64 to Monrovia. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Saturday (61), Waldron still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Audrey Hogg, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Benson, who scored 12 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Greenwood Christian Academy, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 79-15 loss at the hands of Indian Creek. Greenwood Christian Academy has not had much luck with Indian Creek recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Their wins bumped Waldron to 3-4 and Monrovia to 5-3.
