The Vardaman Rams and the Biggersville Lions squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Vardaman Rams had to settle for second. They suffered a tough 41-21 loss at the hands of the Lions. Vardaman's loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Vardaman still got an impressive performance from Za Pratt, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Pratt was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
Vardaman's loss dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Biggersville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Vardaman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Biggersville is on the road again on Friday and play against Velma Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Velma Jackson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
