The team also got some help courtesy of  Ian Feliciano, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
Collegiate has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Calhoun, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-4-1.
 Collegiate wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  12-3  loss against Horace Mann on the 2nd. As for Calhoun, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Masters  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
