 Meanwhile, Lehi faced Pleasant Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Lehi wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 19-12 walloping at the hands of Pleasant Grove. Lehi has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Sophie Bliss was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Piper Emery was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Lehi was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with five  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Lehi, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.
 Thursday's   contest will be a test for both team's pitchers. Skyridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Lehi struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
