At the plate, Sam Green was incredible, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Raul Escobar, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Boulder Creek took on Liberty on Thursday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-5. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Boulder Creek also got a good showing from Matt Bentivolio, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Bentivolio has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

Boulder Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Pinnacle, the victory got them back to even at 11-11-1.
Boulder Creek's pitching crew better be locked in on Tuesday. Pinnacle hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. It's a different story for Boulder Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Pinnacle in the park?
Everything went Pinnacle's way against Boulder Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Pinnacle made off with a 16-2 win. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
