Chopticon is 0-5 against Westlake since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Chopticon Braves will be playing at home against the Westlake Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Chopticon will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.

Despite the defeat, Chopticon saw an underclassman step up: Braylon Harrison dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrison has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Pernell, who scored six points along with seven assists.
Meanwhile, Westlake pushed their score all the way to 57 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to McDonough 61-57.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jagan Thomas, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Ethan Relf was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Chopticon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Chopticon have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Westlake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.2 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
