North Kissimmee Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the International Community Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Kissimmee Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully International Community likes a good challenge.
Even though Bridge to Independence scored an imposing 75 points on Tuesday, North Kissimmee Christian still came out on top. North Kissimmee Christian took down Bridge to Independence 91-75.
Meanwhile, International Community's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Forest Lake Academy by a score of 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat International Community has suffered yet this season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Paxton Boaz, who scored 12 points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Slade Woodruff, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
North Kissimmee Christian pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.7 points per game. As for International Community, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
