On Friday, Chopticon was able to grind out a solid  victory over King's Christian Academy, taking the game  54-45. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Chopticon.
 Leading Chopticon to victory were  Jordan Pernell and  Brian  McMahon.  Pernell  scored 15 points, while  McMahon  scored 18 points along with 6  rebounds and 3  steals. Another player making a difference was  Bryson Fenwick, who  scored 9 points along with 6  rebounds.
 Chopticon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for King's Christian Academy, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Chopticon will head out on the road to face off against Great Mills at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for King's Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Lanham Christian at 5:30  p.m.
