The Ocean View Seahawks had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Garden Grove by a score of 39-28 on Tuesday. The win was just what Ocean View needed coming off of a 55-30 defeat in their prior matchup.
Angelina Bado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ocean View's points. Guadalupe Guzman was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Ocean View's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-19. As for Garden Grove, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Ocean View will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. Westminster is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Garden Grove, they will head out on the road to square off against the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Godinez Fundamental is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
