Last Tuesday, everything went Allegany's way against North Star as Allegany made off with a 55-32 win. Given Allegany's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in Maryland, while North Star is ranked 390th in Pennsylvania), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Frankfort scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Berkeley Springs 59-24 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Frankfort has managed all season.
Allegany's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Frankfort, their victory was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.
