Wando won the last time they faced Bishop England and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wando Warriors had just enough and edged out the Bishop England Battling Bishops 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jake DiMartino was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Max Whitmer also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Wando now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bishop England, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-1 record.

Coming up, Wando will look to defend their home field on Friday against St. James at 6:00 p.m. Wando is facing St. James at the right time seeing as St. James is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bishop England, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Bishop England 1.5, Lucy Beckham 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
