At the end of the 2023-24 high school girls basketball season,
Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Mo.)
had the longest active win streak and no one else was even close. The Red Knights finished with 131 straight wins, added 13 more this year and ultimately pushed the national record to 144 wins in a row.
Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale (Saco, Mont.)
was the only other school over 50 in a row (52) heading into the 2024-25 campaign.
Things are different this spring as five schools have over 48 wins in a row with a high of 55.
Johnston (Iowa)
leads the group with 55 in a row, going 29-0 in 2024 and 26-0 this past season.
Ridgeline (Millville, Utah)
and
O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
are tied at No. 2 with 50 in a row,
Bedford (N.H.)
has 49 in a row and
Lynden (Wash.)
has 48.
