Alchesay hasn't had much luck against Show Low recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Alchesay lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Holbrook, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Falcons put the hurt on the Roadrunners with a sharp 10-4 victory on Tuesday.

Chez Massey was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Pockets Endfield, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kyrin Ivins was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Alchesay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Show Low got the win against Payson on Thursday by a conclusive 17-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.
Like Alchesay, Show Low also got a great game from a two-way player: Easton Hatch. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Hatch was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Show Low got a massive performance out of Nick Hall, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Jonathan Mackenzie also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Show Low pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.4 runs over those games. As for Alchesay, their record is now 12-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Alchesay has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Show Low struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Alchesay suffered a grim 19-2 defeat to Show Low in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
