The Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators will head out on the road to face off against the Cathedral Academy Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowcountry Leadership is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-28, which was the final score in Lowcountry Leadership's tilt against Colleton County on Friday. While losing is never fun, Lowcountry Leadership can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Colleton County is ranked 101st).
Cathedral Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Palmetto Christian Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cathedral Academy.
Lowcountry Leadership bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cathedral Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Lowcountry Leadership came up short against Cathedral Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2020, falling 73-65. Can Lowcountry Leadership avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
