Isabella Persinger made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Another player making a difference was Owyn McCoy, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Hendersonville never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Whitley County as they made off with a 17-0 victory. That 17 run margin sets a new team best for the Commandos this season.
Like Harrison County, Hendersonville also got a great game from a two-way player: Madelyn (Maddie) McCord. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. McCord was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Tatum Parman was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Hendersonville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.
Harrison County's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hendersonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Harrison County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. However, it's not like Hendersonville struggles in that department as they've averaged .322. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
