Humble Christian ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-39 walloping at the hands of Annapolis Christian Academy on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Humble Christian has suffered yet this season.
Joshua Cavazos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Annapolis Christian Academy, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jake Gwaltney, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Humble Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humble Christian will challenge Lighthouse HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lighthouse HomeSchool is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
