Volleyball Recap: Newington Wins Going Away Against Windsor

Newington won the last time they faced Windsor and things went their way on Monday too. The Nor'easters blew past the Warriors 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Nor'easters.

While Newington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-23.

Seng Singkhamlon paced Newington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Singkhamlon got some help from Tristan Gorman and his 28 assists. Gorman was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Newington's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Windsor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Newington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Conard on the 14th. As for Windsor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Simsbury on the 14th.
