St. John's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Booker, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Izaan Mohammad, who scored 15 points.
Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season. As for St. John's, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-7.
Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-55 victory vs. St. Mark's on the 10th. St. John's has also already played their next game, a 87-72 victory against Houston Christian on the 10th.
