Fairdale has gone a perfect 3-0 against Portland Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Fairdale's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Valley with a sharp 18-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.
Paige Tingle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Eva Hidrogo and Bailey Atcher made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Hidrogo tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Atcher tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hidrogo has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. At the plate, Hidrogo got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI, while Atcher scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Atcher a new career-high.

Portland Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Fairdale, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fairdale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .594. However, it's not like Portland Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .718. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
