Macey Pruitt posted a new career-high in points on Thursday. She went 8 for 14 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Thursday's contest, in which she outscored her previous point total for three consecutive games.

Pruitt and Sand Rock will take on Boaz in a holiday battle at on Saturday. Sadly, Pruitt's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Sand Rock's three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Pruitt and Sand Rock surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
