There's no place like home for Beaufort, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Hilton Head Island Seahawks with a sharp 14-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Kyra Raines was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Caylin Adkins, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double.

Beaufort hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hilton Head Island struck out 11 times.

Beaufort's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hilton Head Island, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
