The Covenant took  a  three-set  loss the last time they faced off against St. Catherine, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Saints  3-2. The  win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on seven straight.
 The Covenant took St. Catherine's into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-14,  15-13.
Among those leading the charge was   Kalley Mcnish, who  had 19  digs and one  assist. Those  19  digs gave  her a new career-high.
 The Covenant  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 15  aces in five consecutive  contests.
The Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for St. Catherine's, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-8.
 The Covenant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  win against North Cross on the 25th. As for St. Catherine's, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against St. Anne's-Belfield on the 24th.
