Despite their defeat, Brighton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaxon Soto, who scored 17 points along with three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Soto has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nash Matheson, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, Alta's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 74-55 bruising from Olympus.
Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Alta, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-2.
