Tate Renquist turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Sedgwick County is 2-1 when Renquist allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-8 otherwise.

Renquist's strong effort led Sedgwick County over Peetz and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars are 7-2 against the Bulldogs going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
