The Barstow Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 54-28 loss at the hands of Chillicothe. While losing is never fun, Barstow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Chillicothe is ranked 15th).
Jolie Bonderer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chillicothe, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Liz Oliver, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Barstow's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chillicothe, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Barstow will be playing at home against Raymore-Peculiar on Thursday. Raymore-Peculiar is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Chillicothe, they will head out on the road to challenge Winnetonka on Thursday.
