Horizon Christian Academy was led to victory by Addison Pender, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Saturday. Pender went 7 for 15 on her way to 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Pender and Horizon Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Paulding at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025. The game will pit Pender up against the Spartans' star point guard Kaylah Middlebrooks. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
