Uriah Martines Earns League's Top Spot
 Starting off the list is Sweetwater's  Uriah Martines, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Martines rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. The  performance  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in October of 2023.
 The  victory  got Sweetwater back to even at 3-3. Martines will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Comanche on Friday.

 Breckenridge was sadly handed a  loss on Friday, but  Joseph Juneau did his best to prevent it. Juneau was unstoppable, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Breckenridge is  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Juneau and Breckenridge will take on Jim Ned at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 Comanche took down Jim Ned  on Friday, a win that might not have happened without  Alex Terrell's performance. Nobody could stop  Terrell as he picked up 14 receiving yards.
 Comanche's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-2. Terrell and Comanche have the luxury  of staying home for another  week and will welcome Sweetwater on Friday.

Cayden Davis Makes It Two for Comanche
 Keeping Terrell company is  Cayden Davis, a fellow Comanche player. He rushed for 95 yards, and also threw for 117 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes.
 For the year,  Davis  has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 3.5  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 109  rushing yards.
