She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  seven innings while giving up  seven earned  (and two unearned) runs off   ten  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  double.
 In other batting news,  Sivia Acosta and  Kaiya Hudson did most of the damage at the plate:  Acosta  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double, while  Hudson  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  RBI  Hudson has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was  Maci Cornish, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 19  runs the game before, Chadron was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Thursday. They lost  13-2 to O'Neill. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Cardinals have suffered  since September 13th.
 Alliance has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Chadron, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
