He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Smith scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in six of his seven plate appearances, while Starnes scored a run while going 2-for-6. Wagener-Salley moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
