The Waller Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 55-34 walloping at the hands of Tomball Memorial. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Waller in their matchups with Tomball Memorial: they've now lost six in a row.
Tomball Memorial was led to victory by Dasia Hyams and Skylar Kearns. Hyams scored 16 points, while Kearns scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Kearns scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Forbes, who scored five points along with two steals.
Waller has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season. As for Tomball Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waller will square off against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Forest is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Tomball Memorial, they will head out on the road to challenge Klein Cain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
